About Josh

Hello, I’m Josh Moulton, a Chicago-based photo-realism painter. I’ve worked towards becoming a professional artist nearly my entire life, drawing inspiration, talent, and technique from my father, Conrad Moulton, who built a successful career as an illustrator and painter that spanned more than half a century.

After consistent sales, corporate collectors, gallery representations, and the like, I’m very excited to broaden my exposure and share my art with everyone. I’m very passionate about my work and committed to my profession. I hope you truly enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.

One big step I’ve recently taken is opening my own gallery in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Josh Moulton Fine Art Gallery located at 2218 N. Clark Street is nestled near the park and lake on a vibrant, mixed-used block. This type of environment that now surrounds my gallery has been the inspiration to so much of my work. It feels great to be able to display my work in this setting. There is something for everybody at my gallery, from original works to prints, but more than anything I just want people to stop by, take a look, and enjoy my art!

I’ve also overhauled my website to make my work more readily accessible to people all over the world. I have made over 1,000 images of my work available for viewing online. You can also link to my Facebook, Twitter, and Flicker accounts to get updates about new pieces and upcoming events. Please feel free to contact me through email or by phone if you would like information about the work I have available for purchase, to inquire about commissioned work (which I’m always accepting), or to set an appointment with me to come see my work. Thanks again for stopping by!
